# About ARise
ARise is a research project exploring how augmented reality (AR) can optimize training and onboarding in small and medium-sized industrial enterprises (SMEs). The project investigates how traditional written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) can be replaced with interactive, spatial learning experiences. Using a co-design approach, ARise focuses on developing a low-cost, user-friendly AR platform and evaluates its effectiveness through usability tests, A/B comparisons, and user interviews to generate open knowledge that SMEs can apply in practice.
